How this curtain width calculator works
Total finished curtain width equals rod width × fullness. That total is divided by the number of panels.
How to use it
- Rod/window width. Enter the value in in.
- Desired fullness. Enter the value in ×.
- Number of panels. Enter the value that applies to your situation.
- Request the result. Add your email, then select “Email & show my result.”
What to do with the number
Fullness around 1.5× looks relatively tailored; 2× to 2.5× creates a fuller gathered appearance. Use rod width rather than glass width when curtains extend beyond the window frame.
Use this result as a starting point, not a guarantee. Product specifications, site conditions, manufacturer guidance, local codes, taxes, labor, tolerances, and rounding can change the real requirement or cost.
